Even as the summer doldrums roll on; a time when historically little happens on Wall Street or in D.C.; the folks driving this country are still finding cliffs to launch us over!
If I hear ‘RACIST’ one more time, I am going to throw-up. The nonsense coming out of the now infamous Journolist Chat Room; where liberal-minded so-called journalists gathered electronically to blather about ways to further their political agenda; was exposed this week. Excerpts that pondered if the FCC could just pull the license from Fox News and ‘…why not just call conservative pundits ‘Racists’ (that will slow them down)’ and all other matters that showed how ridiculous the main-stream press in this country really is, came to light in a report by Tucker Carlson (dailycaller.com). If you are an Editorial writer; write away! If you call yourself a journalist; report the facts! Aren’t you tired of the no-nothings of this country telling us all what to do and how to live??? I am!
The rudder has fallen off this ship. At a time when the folks in Washington should be doing everything in their power to help the economy (which I propose is to get the F**K out of the way!), they spend our tax dollars on suing the state of Arizona for trying to do what they are not doing! More money spent defending a legal challenge on the constitutionality of the insurance mandate (which they now concede is a tax), so they can jam that garbage down on throats with a clear conscience.
How ’bout Thad Allen taking 24 hours to decide if BP should try the cap to stop the oil (which has worked for a week now)? What does Thad Allen know about 150,000 lbs. of steel a mile below the surface? Somebody help me here! The oil has stopped flowing, much to the chagrin of the liberals who want to use this disaster to push another useless agenda they hold so dear! The spill has given Obama and his followers (blind as they are) an excuse to further hurt the economy by effectively killing oil exploration in the Gulf! This is more of a disaster than oil washing up on shore. The oil can be cleaned up and repairs can be made. Taking thousands of jobs and increasing oil imports will hurt us for a much longer time than the spill will!
I hope you folks are as pissed-off as I am. We are spending this country into oblivion. Every time a fork in the road is presented to this administration, they make the wrong turn. EVERY TIME!!
I can see the staff meetings now. The collection of dopes are all there. Axelrod, Emanuel, Gibbs; maybe even Napolitano and Salazar, just to dumb-down the group a bit. Obama would say,
‘What should we do about XYZ?’
Someone in the group would then say…
‘The people want us to do X sir.’
The ‘Annointed one’ (sorry Sean) would reply….
‘Okay then, let’s do Y, and get Holder in here to sue somebody over this…Oh yeah; couldn’t we form another bureaucracy here? Maybe a few hundred of my closest friends can grab $100K+ a year for some sort of Redundant Department? Do we need a Czar? Maybe an NAACP member can run this whole thing… whaddayathink?
Oh… I almost Forgot; get Leno on the phone and Oprah maybe so we can get some Camera time, OK?’
Then the crowd goes wild!
I know this sounds ridiculous, and it is! Unfortunately this is exactly how Washington is going. While it looks as though we can throw out many of the criminals who have participated in this ridiculous charade, and deal with whatever garbage the HOUSE and SENATE want to come up with during a lame-duck session, it is imperative that we hold ALL our representatives to a MUCH higher standard from this day forward!
You see the ads. ‘I am not a career politician’ or ‘I will stop ridiculous spending’. SURE, that is what Scott Brown said, and at his first test he joined Olympia Snow in voting for financial reform! SCREW HIM, and anyone who looks like him (as my brother would say)!
Dig deep into the folks you would replace the Washington Criminals with. Find out who you are going to vote for and put the fear of GOD into them that if the wish to unpack their bags in D.C., they better do what they say and what this country needs! Once elected. we need to press these people daily; keep them ON TASK.
Can we oust the liberals from both houses? I believe we can; but replacing them with different MORONS doesn’t fix what is ailing us.
Wield your vote like a sword, and maybe we can win this battle!
