So our fearless leaders come up with $600 Million dollars to help protect our southern border this week. Whoopdy-Freakin-Do! Likely this money will get us some National Guardsmen who will sit in an office until sometime after the election. Maybe some border agents who, like the others already there, will have their hands tied and be in charge of the revolving door that is our border with Mexico.
While I appreciate this minor effort in the right direction, I can’t help asking how we come up with $600 Million to protect everyone, when a week earlier we come up with $25 Billion to keep teachers and poorly run states on the FEDERAL DOLE?
Can we see a pattern here? Can we derive a better understanding of the priorities in Washington? The Socialists love to throw money they don’t have at their friends (like the $billion dollars Obama stuck into the stimulus to fund an Illinois Based Carbon Reclamation Project) for things none of us need. They are happy to get the states to waste money on a federal scale, but can only come up with Chump-Change for viable projects and needs that we can all benefit from.
One Examples that comes to mind is NASA. Not only did our spending-freak friends cut the budget and eliminate the shuttle program, but Maobama directed his newly appointed NASA chief to have NASA make Islam feel good about themselves and their contributions to the world. I am sure the best and brightest engineers in the world loved that piece of news. Again, NASA does nothing to help the socialist agenda so why throw money at this agency when it can be given to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or Acorn???
The only smile raised this week at all was Joe Donnely’s (D) ad that bashes Obama and Pelosi directly on immigration. Isn’t it neat to watch the rats leave this sinking ship?!?
While I believe the GOP needs to step up and step up big, it is this idiocy that we must use to keep us engaged, and pick the folks to ‘get the keys’ from Obama and the clueless Democrats! Then if our Republican friends get to drive, they better stay on the straight-and-narrow, or we will be forced to throw them out as well!
