A Patriots Musings

Since I started this blog, one of my biggest fans has been my brother Joe. This is a man that everyone who meets him instantly considers him a good friend! Bright, friendly, empathetic; this is Joe. He is a fair man, and is as sick of the nonsense going on in Washington as the rest of us. I have asked him to contribute since I started this site. Here I offer his first of what I hope to be many contributions!

As I approach the age of 60, I find that I am getting nostalgic for the good old days. Here are a few things I miss the most:

1. The days when honesty was admired instead of political correctness.
2. The days when we actually knew what the meaning of “is” is.
3. The days when the Muslim leader that wants to destroy the USA had a LAST name of Hussein.
4. The days when the Secretary of the Treasury not only made tax laws, but paid them too.
5. The days when Congress did not have to pass a law to find out what is in it.
6. The days before the Attorney General wouldn’t prosecute criminals because he says that they are “His People”.
7. The days when “His People” were all the people in the USA.
8. The days when “DOJ” stood for the Dept of Justice, not Jihad.
9. The days when the President & 1st lady didn’t take 14 planes filled with all their friends to go on vacations, & then rent out the most expensive Hotels (all 545 rooms) on our dime.
10. The days when our budgets were in Billions, not Trillions.
11. The days when oil prices soared & the President would allow oil companies to drill on our soil.
12. The days when our Forefathers were honored by the President; not Chavez, Castro & Mao.
13. The days when the Federal Government did not sue states for enforcing the laws.
14. The days when the President would meet with cabinet members, NOT corrupt Union Leaders.
15. The days when a Muslim yelling “Allah Akbar” before killing American Citizens was considered a “Terrorist Attack”
16. The days when a President tells of visiting all the states in our country uses the number 50 not 57 as the correct amount of states (By the way their are 57 states in the Muslim world, it’s easy to get confused).
17. The days when NASA’s main concern was to send men into outer space, not improve our relations with the Muslim world.
18. The days when a new President’s first interview after the inauguration is not with “Al-Jezeera”.
19. The days when the Secretary of State doesn’t advise the American people to watch “Al-Jazeera” to get the correct news reports, as Hillary did last week.
20. The days that NBC didn’t stand for the National Barack Channel, & MSNBC didn’t stand for the Marxist Socialist National Barack Channel.
21. The days when Democrats had enough respect for the American people not to tell really obvious lies to us the way they do (The whoppers they tell really insult our intelligence).
22. The days before the use of “Common Sense” was made illegal and was replaced by political correctness (or is it incorrectness?).
23. The days before the Obama administration is caught using the same half trillion dollars for both Medicare & Obamacare, and the drive-by media ignoring it (So that’s why the CBO can say Obamacare will lower health care rates).
24. The days when I didn’t have to worry about our country being destroyed by a President who is doing it on purpose. (He did promise to “Fundamentally Change This Country” when he got elected.
25. And finally, I really miss the United States of America, and I really hate living in the Obamanation of America.

These things I miss a lot. Watching the BS from our President makes my head hurt; Howabout you????

Amen to that, Brother!

Thanks Joe! We all look forward to more from You!
