I like to think that I am a fairly intelligent, guy. Some days I just feel stupid! Why is Nancy standing up there telling everyone that the GOP is trying to kill off Grandma? Why is BO (I love this, don’t you?) spouting nonsense about private jets, and Millionaire/Trillionaire taxes. Why all this garbage when the fact of the matter is that we are spending $1Trillion more per year than we did before Mr. Obama turned the White House into a joke? Maybe I am not the stupid one!
How come nobody is calling this administration out on their ridiculous spending, as we try to come up with what will likely be crumbs of spending cuts? How ’bout we cut all redundant welfare spending by 1/3? That is the amount this administration added to the welfare rolls in two years; about $270 Billion Dollars.
Obama’s 2012 budget calls for the Department of Education to receive $77.4 Billion / year, up a mere 7.4% from current spending. Since education in this country is going the wrong way, closing this whole department is a good idea; just think what we could get for all the desks the useless bureaucrats sat at?
The department of Agriculture gets $144 Billion; are you kidding me? $6.5 Billion for clean energy crap, $325 Million for Michelles’ Twinkie brigade, $7.4 Billion in Welfare money (can you say redundant?), and a mere $400 Million in Bio-Fuel (read ethanol) Support. Let’s call it $15 Billion in easy to spot waste.
So I now spent about 20 minutes looking for ways to cut the budget, and only came up with a mere $100 Billion without breaking a sweat or pushing Grandma over the cliff! Looking at H.U.D., they only want an extra $900 Billion, and considering the great job they have done lately, maybe we should look at this department, and a slew of others.
So Mr. President, I just can’t UNDERSTAND why it is so difficult to make ends meet in Washington; please help this constituent out. Could it be that you have millions of socialists who won’t help you get re-elected if you don’t keep the NANNY-STATE machine in high gear? I can understand that. How about you give up your re-election campaign, do what this country needs, and I will personally carve your likeness on Mt. Rushmore! How about that? You will only serve one time (likely to happen anyway Mr. 9.2%), but you could be a hero, rather than a Jimmy Carter Wannabe!
You can start earning some credibility by telling the truth for a change. Do you think the people are buying your nonsense about rich folks taxes? Historically, when the rich are taxed higher, less revenue is generated; but please don’t let the facts get in the way of your rhetoric!
Having meetings in the White House, even if they are everyday, doesn’t get it done. Facing the problems, and making the tough decisions, as we have all had to do thanks to you and others like you, will make you a hero like Reagan was. Doing wht you are doing now will make you Jimmy Carter. Which do you prefer?

I’m still waiting for his plan to help reduce the deficits. All he’s done is hold meetings with leaders of both parties and give speeches in which he says absolutely nothing. During the ’08 elections, I called him an empty hat. I’m embarrassed I gave him so much credit.
