If you just landed on the planet this week, turned on the tube, and saw our fearless leader, you would have to wonder why those nasty Republicans won’t cooperate. Listening to BO, you would think he has the plan, and he can’t get any cooperation; poor Barack!
If you didn’t just land here, you would know that nothing could be further from the truth. As a matter of fact, the Democrats and the President, have supplied nothing to the debate but rhetoric!
In case you missed it, Mr. Obama was on CBS evening news (why?) this week and answered what was obviously a planted question. Asked if Social Security recipients would be getting checks on August third barring an agreement, Maobama replied, ‘I can’t promise there will be enough money in the coffers to pay these folks…’. Got it you lying bastard! How dare you toss this out! Is scaring people your only plan? You certainly haven’t proposed any specifics!
The only thing the President has been very clear about is he doesn’t want to re-visit the debt problem again before next years’ election (I can’t imagine why, can you?). After that he not only hasn’t offered a single solution, but Harry and the rest of the Democratic machine hasn’t offered anything either. Should we be surprised? The same group that did NOT approve a budget for 2011 hasn’t come up with a plan for the debt problem; I AM SHOCKED!!
The GOP has at LEAST offered Paul Ryans Budget, and are on the verge of bringing ‘CUT, CAP & BALANCE’ to the senate floor to die! The left wants to add taxes, I mean revenue (Obama’s new term), even though just a few months ago they voted not to! The Right is dead-set against this.
I am sure something will be done by August 2, but it is sad that re-election and political posturing has such a strong bearing on trying to run this nation.
Bottom line, steps MUST be taken to make the government smaller, and make the economy stronger! If BO wants more revenue (taxes), stop screwing up the economy and the cash would flow into the coffers so you can pay social security!
While he stands in front of the cameras, you wouldn’t guess that discretionary spending is up 80+ % since he arrived or that his administration added more to the national debt than ALL others before him combined. Nope; he can just sling the garbage and the uninformed will believe his rhetoric.
Maybe you should take this moment to lead, BO. Try telling the truth and actually putting the future of this country before your political aspirations for a change. This country will not stand for socialism, so either you listen to the people, our cause a revolution of one sort or another.

But guess what there are poor republicans just like there are poor democrats come on, everybody has to sweat this problem through. That fact that the wealthy are being protected of there wealth is not fair to once upon a time the (middle class).paul ryan is part of an antioboma group. He one of this teaparty individual. It doesn’t matter who would have come up a plan, the republicans woul have voted on it, as long as oboma name wasn’t on it. Come 2012, yes Oboma will still be your president. Again the dems will control the house and senate mainly because of this antioboma . I could NOT disagree more. It is only when somebody makes statements like yours that I THINK about the Presidents race! If Mr. Obama improved this country rather than sinking it deeper and deeper into a financial hole (raised spending over 35% since he entered office), I would campaign for him! I would want him to be President. I could care less if he was GREEN! The only reason I started this BLOG at all was because Washington, not JUST Obama, has screwed this country up ROYALLY, and I wanted to do something about it! Your talk about rich folks is nonsense. I would bet you don’t give away 50% of what you make as these MEAN rich folks do, do you? WE spend waaaay too much money and are creating a class of people who suck off the teat of the government. The RICH folks are the only ones who can turn the economy around! Not the lawyers and academics in Washington. LIke em or not, the rich tend to create jobs. I hate this class envy crap that Obama is always trying to generate. Everyone, yes EVERYONE in this great country of ours has an equal opportunity to excel. Sad fact is, not everyone is ambitious enough to realize the American dream.
Don’t give me any lip about how your looks, your race, religion or any other victim excuse you may wish to use prevented you from achieving whatever dream you may have had. In the end, we’re all at whatever economic status we’ve achieved because of conscious decisions we’ve made during the course of our life. If you’re a victim, it’s because you’ve decided to become a victim.
I’ll throw myself out there as an example. I know what it takes to be in the upper levels of management within my corporation. Dedication, sacrifice of one’s time(read 14 or more hours per day), taking your work with you on vacation. The list goes on and on. I chose not to do this and as a result I’m just an ordinary blue collar worker.
Am I jealous of millionaires? Hell no! I chose not to follow the necessary path to become a millionaire because I’d rather spend time with my family and friends. But spending time with family and friends doesn’t earn money. The point; I have only the choices I’ve made and myself to blame for whatever economic status I find myself in. It’s not some small business owner’s fault that I’m in the situation I’m in. It’s not anybody’s fault but my own. I’ll accept that responsibility.
There’s nothing wrong with choosing to spend more time at work and making the sacrifices necessary to excel at one’s chosen profession. My hat is off to those that have made those tough choices. Like it or not, if you’re in a situation you’d rather not be in, more than likely it’s your fault. Not some millionaire’s.
Race? You would try to accuse me of racism? The ONLY reason Obama was elected is because he is black. More than likely that’s the only reason you voted for him. You certainly didn’t vote for him because of his qualifications to lead. Unless you consider a position as a community organizer the number one quality to become president. The fact that the United States of America has a black president kind of debunks the old racist argument don’t you think?
