Barack; Need a Bucket?

It seems the S.S. Obama is taking on water faster than his political machine can bail! As Nero fiddles, every economic indicator imaginable is on fire. Unemployment is stupid, consumer confidence is in the toilet, etc. So what is our humble leader doing? He’s going to make a speech; I AM SHOCKED!

This isn’t a regular speech; no way! This is a speech about how he is going to make jobs in this country. He has some great ideas we are told. Really? Then why is he waiting until next Wednesday at 8:00 to give us this great news?

Could it have to do with the fact that the Republicans who want his job are having a debate, scheduled months ago, at the very same time? Jake Carney says that ‘Honestly… this is about jobs’. Gotcha Jake. The only question that comes to mind is: when are you going to stop lying for the Prez and go back to writing rubbish for a liberal tabloid?

It gets better, to no ones’ surprise. The reason the White House chose Wednesday of next week rather than Thursday is because there is football on Thursday. Let me see if I got this right…. the country is going to Hell in a hand-basket, the President has an URGENT plan to fix it, he can’t tell us right away and he doesn’t want to compete with the first game of the NFL season? We are supposed to take you seriously, Mr. President?

Now I, like all of you are sure that the pearls Mr. Obama will share with us next week are going to make a dramatic shift in direction of the country, right? He is such an expert and according to his rhetoric, hasn’t slept in some two years because all of us who want jobs haven’t found them yet. I will be on the edge of my seat for this one.

In case it couldn’t get any weirder, the day after this historic announcement we find out that Solyndra, L.L.C. has filed for bankruptcy. Why is this Germain to this discussion? I am glad you asked!

In May of 2009, our fearless leader stumped at the solar manufacturers’ facility touting how the $500 Million loan from the stimulus built this green-jobs factory. Here is part of THAT speech….

The future is here,” Obama said during his visit. “We’re poised to transform the ways we power our homes and our cars and our businesses. … And we are poised to generate countless new jobs, good-paying, middle-class jobs, right here in the United States of America.”

Nice touch B.O.! Now it seems that without federal support, this company and at least three others that were ‘Stimulated’ can’t compete with the Chinese in this arena. Of course the half billion dollars is gone.

You can’t make this stuff up!

Now you can understand my enthusiasm as I await with baited breath the plan such an innovator might set forth next Wednesday. But I am a bit torn; should I listen to more BULL**IT from Barack, or get a root canal; I wonder?

Newsflash! Our Wimp-in-Chief is going to take his chances against the NFL. He really didn’t have a choice as Boehner declined to invite him on Wednesday. This is the first time in history that the speaker turned the President down on such a request! I love it. Did I say you can’t make this S**t up?

Step down Obama! This is the voice of Chicago people! Obama will only create more poor people instead of making poor people rich.

I am afraid you are right. Thanks for the post!

For a fellow that’s supposed to be for more intelligent than us normal folks, Obuma sure was average when he played politics with the scheduling of his speech. What an amateurish political play. When the White House Press Corps jumps all over the fact that the speech was scheduled to begin exactly when the Republican presidential debate begins, you know you done screwed the pooch!

Then to reschedule the speech after Jay Carney specifically stated there was no other possible time to have the speech just shows how irrelevant Obuma is becoming. So Boehner declines to invite Barry until Thursday night. The speech is scheduled for 8PM yet again, then someone discovers that’s the beginning of the first game of the NFL season. So the speech is rescheduled earlier Thursday evening because the Pres doesn’t want to compete with the NFL.

Somebody remind me again. How important is this speech anyways? :)

I remember a speech Barry gave during the ’08 campaign. “Just words…”. Unfortunately for the American people, that’s all Obuma is; JUST WORDS. :(

Your correct Pete. You just can not make this up. Like we need another speech from this guy. The last couple of years have just been surreal.
