What disturbs me the most about the stuffed-shirts that try to run this country while they line their pockets, is the fact that they think we are all SO stupid! Pick a Sunday morning show and watch someone like Dick (appropriate first name, dontcha think?) Durbin, listen to himself talk. He is convinced we believe the crap he is slinging. We can’t this, or we can’t that…NONSENSE!
How about we HAVE to do something about the mess these morons have made of our country and financial situations. If I hear one more liberal tell me what program they can’t cut, I am going to go CRAZY! We have to cut programs that are redundant and wasteful, even if it means jerks like Durbin have to go home and shut up! (isn’t that wishful thinking?)
Have a look at the video below of Chuck Woolery, coming up with more cuts than the ‘Deficit Commission’ could in 3 months. While there is some humor in it, these cuts would do what needs to be done, without gutting defense!
Simply put, if we don’t cut our spending, we will wind up in the shitter like Greece and Italy. If we DO cut our spending significantly (not the messily 1.2 Billion a year which is 10% of our annual deficit) we stand a better chance of the economy coming around, raising all kinds of new revenue, and allowing Washington to waste money at a faster pace again. Asking for more tax dollars while we throw cash around at the Solyndras of the world, have ridiculous amounts of welfare going out the door, and redundant programs up the wazoo, is LUDICROUS!!!
The Lefties are screaming about the rich contributing their fair share; how about the nearly 50% of the folks that pay NO TAX AT ALL!! How about a fair share from them? Because they can’t manage their lives or finances, the rest of the folks in the world have to pay for them? Where do we find that in the constitution?
Don’t get me wrong, I understand that there are folks who need help. I don’t walk past a Salvation Army bucket without throwing in coins! But we enable folks to stay in poverty by handing out the money we do.
A single woman with a child on welfare is MOTIVATED to have another child rather than find work. It is a better deal to do so! Until this isn’t true, we can’t help these people help themselves (except to our money!).
I wonder how many liberals would be handing out cash to the downtrodden if a law was passed that said you could not vote, if you pay no taxes. If the recipients of our generosity couldn’t get DOLTS like Pelosi re-elected, would she be worried about extending unemployment for another year??? How bout if we got more votes the more taxes you pay? You want a fair share; have bout a fair say in our government?
Since I haven’t wrote in a few weeks, I think it is appropriate that I rant on all things STUPID in D.C., Don’t you?
One last thing…Gingrinch had a lot of guts to say what he did about immigration. He is ahead in the polls and could have just answered the question as Romney would have, which is to say offer no solution at all. Instead he stood up and said that we aren’t likely to send 14 Million folks back to wherever they came from, so let’s find a solution once our borders are secure! How dare he tell the truth; this is a campaign after all!
Would I love to send everyone who crossed the borders into this country illegally back from whence they came. Sure I would! Is it ever going to happen? Not in a million years! So rather than elect the best B.S. artist who makes sure he doesn’t piss anyone off, maybe someone like Newt, who if nothing else is ready to shake things up, would be a better choice than the ‘Ken Doll’ from New Hampshire!

Funny thing is I really do agree that if you are not in school and pay no taxes you should not have the privilege of voting.
