8.3%; Cause for Celebration?

There is no doubt that I am happy that the unemployment rate is starting to inch lower; who wouldn’t be? But I would like to ask Obama why he didn’t throw a party when he heard that the country grew at a 1.7% clip last year? Or why he didn’t mention the fact that 1,000,000 people decided to drop out of the work force?

The unemployment rate doesn’t drop 2 tenths of a percent with 200,000 new jobs; this is the minimum number of jobs it takes on a monthly basis to maintain the rate without a downward slide. My advice Barack; blow out the candles and get to work for a change!

Again, we should be happy that the job market is growing rather than contracting for sure. But before Mr. O gets a big head (oops! Too late!), we should realize that this is in spite of the policies this administration has put forth, rather than because of anything he has done. If ANYONE can point to ANYTHING this administration has done to spur business rather than thwart it, I’ll eat my shoes (don’t wear hats!). He stands there touting this improvement, but fails to mention that this has been the slowest recovery from a recession EVER!!

My biggest concern of course, is that the uninformed will listen to the garbage about how he ‘Deserves’ another term (see the Today show interview before the Super Bowl), and how he inherited such a mess; blah, blah, blah….

The truth is that our beloved President had an agenda, and used a tough time in our history to shove it down our throats! At every turn, he chose the path that fed this agenda, and ignored the needs of the people of this country. The list is long of the horrible choices he made:

• He Ignored Israel
• He forced health care through using bribery
• He has Kathleen Sebelius tell 77 Million Catholics that they have to offer contraception for free!
• He threw our money down green energy rabbit holes owned by his buddies
• He let weapons we put into the field kill one of our own
• He is systematically disassembling our military, as he has already done with the space program!
• Pipeline, what pipeline; he wants another 3 or 4 years to consider it
• Fix the auto industry my ass! He threw billions of dollars at this problem and we get the VOLT, and Chrysler which is basically owned by an Italian company
• The poverty rate as well as food-stamp participation has soared to historically high levels
• The lowest percentage of people in the work force ever recorded coincides with this drop to 8.3%

Great job B.O! Cash for clunkers? Where do we drop your sorry ass off?

The only TERM you deserve for the job you have done is a jail term! But if you leave in December, we won’t press charges; consider this a plea-bargain.

Maybe you could go to work for NBC (since they have worked so long for you!). I can see it now, a game show; ‘Are you smarter than an Ex-President’. We could have fifth graders compete to show you how stupid and self-serving your administration has been.

Another chance to complete your social agenda? I don’t think so. I would rather re-elect Jimmy Carter!
