Why Do This ?
Am I Crazy?
Friends of mine ask me why am taking the time and effort to write and maintain this BLOG? Sometimes I wonder Myself! I have never been very political, focusing more on my career and my family.
I have done many things in my life; I ran a computer store which was converted into an Internet Provider called MagicNet. I sold MagicNet in 1998. Since 1999 I have run a motorcycle shop, building custom bikes, servicing & selling American Motorcycles. Recently I invented and manufacture a patented Motorcycle Stabilization system called LegUp Landingear.
Again, why am I doing this? I wasn’t political. I was self-employed with what most would consider reasonable success for some 25 years. When it started to become IMPOSSIBLE to maintain the business I have run for the last 11 years, I started wondering why!
Don’t get me wrong; I have been through ups and downs in business. I opened my computer store about sixty days before Reagan told the Japanese…

WHAT?? I did need those chips. The computers I built went up $200 each based on this embargo! So What! Business is business, and entrepreneurs know this. Change course, make adjustments; that is what you do in small business (may they rest in peace if the loons in D.C. have their way!).
Now I HAVE to be political. When our government is trying to make ME and others who have made small business the life-blood of this country EXTINCT, I MUST get involved as so many other Americans have done in the past few years!
Why am I doing this? I have to! I have to join the millions of Americans who are flat Sick of This Crap that is coming out of Washington. I don’t care what your party affiliation is; if what our government is doing doesn’t piss you off, please go back to sleep! Otherwise use this BLOG and anything else at your disposal to read, learn and ACT!
I want to be part of the effort that takes this country back from the folks who think they know better than everyone else! I want to be a part of the movement that gets rid of government corruption and waste. The movement that gets us back to less government and less taxes. I want to be able to run a business again and have customers that can spend money without worrying about losing their house, or their health care, or whatever new RIDICULOUS garbage that may be coming from Washington NEXT WEEK!

Pete, thanks for taking up the cause. Enough is enough and its time to take action. Your website is a step in the right direction. With every day that passes the progressive left and those that embrace their world view get further entrenched in our federal bureaucracy. There should be no confusion as to their intent nor their willingness to do anything to remain in power. The time has come for those of us in the conservative heartland to respond. How is the only question and soon enough we shall see that words are not enough. The time for our own version of civil disobedience is quickly approaching.
